  5 rating.
  You can't serve half chicken cold and half chicken hot.
  And may me server make my margarita.
  This is my first horrible experience.
  It's better give some training to your team.

  We haven't been to Famous Dave's in years.  Probably before Yelp existed!  Based on the food and service at our meal today, we'll be returning much more often. We arrived at approximately 4:15pm on a Saturday afternoon.  We were happy to learn that their lunch menu is available until 5:00pm, even on Saturdays.
  
  We ordered the Chopped Chicken salad, Famous Dave's Cheeseburger and Famous Dave's Cheeseburger with Bacon. Everything tasted really good.  Our server checked back in with us about 3 times.
  
  A five star rating from me for good food and good service.

  Went here for lunch with my fiance.  We both ordered off their lunch menu.  We got catfish and chicken.  Both were cooked well and very tasty.  Sides were good as well!  I got mashed potatoes, she got mac n cheese.  Cornbread was very good!  We had a couple mixed drinks as well, again well made.
  
  Service was very friendly and attentive, and, food arrived fast.  5 stars!

  Well this place went from inconsistent reheated bbq to downright bad customer service, what happened? I have been coming to famous daves for the last 15 yrs and every year it gets worse and worse, either thei ribs taste microwaved and are fatty,or the sides are cold.. but after todays visit I think I am just not coming back.
  
  My visit at Famous Daves, started out well enough the place was almost 100% empty at 6pm the host sat us at a great table near a window in the far side of the restaurant it made us feel like we were the only people here.. and I liked that.
  
  The visit took a turn when I order my go to dinner option the founders feast.. in the decade plus I have been coming here I asked to swap out the beans that come with the meal for the mac and cheese side. It has never been a problem ever!! The server then tells me no can do.. its their policy set for years no substitution on the sides that come with the combo meal...i told her I was just here a couple months back and she the recanted saying ohh ya it just updated policy 2 mths ago.. then telling me about when other famous daves closed testing me -almost as to make me feel foolish and very confrontational.. I told her fine we will pay for the mac and cheese side but I hate beans do not bring them.. well after getting our food what do you think comes on my platter? Beans.. smh unreal!! Then she disappears for 30 min while we suck on ice cubes... the place was dead maybe 1 or 2 other tables!! Absolutely no excuse for slow bad service. The food was ok.. the ribs were tough.. the chicken was good pulled pork was ok.. coleslaw was great..mac and cheese ok..but cold
  
  Bottom line what does a small scoop of mac and cheese really cost? I bet even less then the beans.. you could not just swap out the beans for the mac and cheese... no you had to be greedy as a restaurant! And charge me a measly $2.59 for the side... or maybe this is not policy, maybe the server made this all up? Who knows.. but $60 dollars later I felt mad and annoyed and unsatisfied.
  
  I will not return.

  Really good place for bbq, friendly staff and clean place. I enjoy all there flavors in bbq sauce and the bread pudding is fantastic!
